Grosvenor Casinos’ GUKPT – Back With a Bang for 2017 in Glorious HD
Grosvenor Casinos’ GUKPT is returning for its 11th consecutive season and is looking forward to what is anticipated to be another record breaking year for the UK’s longest running and most prestigious poker tour.
What better way to kick off the 2017 GUKPT than the first leg taking place at what many consider the home of U.K. Poker – the iconic ‘The Poker Room’, located above Grosvenor Casino Victoria, situated on London’s bustling Edgware Road.
The GUKPT offers nine legs running throughout 2017 before wrapping up the season in style at the GUKPT Grand Final. The 2017 GUKPT guarantees a staggering £1,800,000 in Main and Mini Main Event guarantees, with each leg hosting a Main Event with a guarantee ranging from £100,000 to £400,000 and a buy-in from £500+50 to £2,000+125.
The Main Event is sandwiched between a variety of other events including 6-Max, bounties and Omaha among others, which cater to all different types of players and bankrolls.
For each leg, both the host Grosvenor Casino venue and Grosvenorpoker.com give players a wealth of satellite opportunities to win their Main Event seats for a fraction of the cost.
Record Breaking Number Of Players

Grosvenor Casino Edgware Road Poker Tournament Schedule
The 2019 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is heading to Blackpool for its penultimate stop, which is set to take place from November 3-10.
The Blackpool stop is the eighth leg of the year-long festival which kicked off in London during January 2019.
Players from all over the UK will gather in the seaside town of Lancashire to compete for a slice of the hundreds of thousands of pounds up for grabs at the tournament, spread across a week of poker action.
GUKPT Blackpool Schedule
The poker tournament begins with the £225 No Limit Hold’em Mini Main Event which has two starting flights on November 3-4, as well an online flight hosted by Grosvenor Poker. A winner will be determined on Day 2 of the event which happens on November 5, during which a Super Satellite to the Main Event will also take place, with a buy-in of £165.
The main attraction of the festival is the £1,100 GUKPT Blackpool Main Event taking place on November 8-10, featuring £200,000 in total prize pool. The winner of the event will take home the GUKPT Blackpool Champion title, alongside the top prize.
Players may also take part in other side events running throughout the festival, including a £165 Omaha event on November 7, £275 No Limit Hold’em event on November 9, as well as a No Limit Hold’em Bounty on November 10.

Previous winners of the GUKPT Main Event include Simon Deadman, Tom Middleton, Priyan de Mel, Yiannis Liperis, Richard Trigg, David Johnson, Andrew Peters, Justin Astley, Jonny Gray and Danny Corbetteach, each taking home between £53,000 and £84,900 in first-place prize. 4

Season 1 winner Paul Bracken captured the biggest top prize to be awarded in the history of the GUKPT Blackpool Main Event, worth £109,700. Brian Clarke, who triumphed in the second edition event also walked away with a cool £96,500 in winnings.
Warm-up for GUKPT Finale in London
The winners of the Main Event in each leg can all look forward to the highly-anticipated GUKPT Grand Final which is set to take place on November 16 to December 1 at The Poker Room, London, located just above the Grosvenor Casino Victoria on Edgware Road. The GUKPT Grand Final Main Event carries a buy-in of £2,650 and offers a whopping £500,000 in guarantees.
